Browse helpWhat is Caprastacks ERP?
A set of business apps — sales, purchase, stock, manufacturing and more — that share one double-entry set of books. Whatever you do in one app shows up correctly in the others and in your reports, and you can run several companies from one account.
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You make invoices, bills and payments, and Caprastacks writes the accounting entries for you. Your accountant can open any figure and see every entry behind it.
How much does Caprastacks ERP cost?
ERP capacity pricing: Monthly starts at $20 per month and Yearly starts at $204 per year. Every new account gets a free trial for one calendar month with no card required. There is no permanent free tier — when the trial ends you choose a paid plan to keep your access and your data.
What does Caprastacks ERP include?
A dashboard and notifications, contacts, accounting (chart of accounts, opening balances, journals, payments, post-dated cheques, account statements, aged receivables and payables, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet), sales, purchasing including imports and landed costs, inventory across multiple warehouses, manufacturing, connections between your own companies and with trading partners, a gate pass register, investment deals, and company settings. Manufacturing is an optional add-on, priced per company.
Can I use only some of the apps?
Yes. Open the apps you need and leave the rest. You can also give each person on your staff only the apps they work in.
Is Caprastacks good for multi-company accounting?
Yes. Caprastacks ERP is built for multi-company businesses from the ground up. Each company keeps its own books, and one company can never see another's data.
Does Caprastacks use real double-entry bookkeeping?
Yes. Every voucher posts balanced debit and credit entries into a ledger, and all balances and reports are derived from that ledger — the accounting is the source of truth.
Can Caprastacks handle inventory?
Yes. Caprastacks ERP tracks stock with perpetual inventory and weighted-average costing, and records cost of goods sold automatically on every sale. It also handles multiple warehouses, transfers between them, and landed costs on imported goods.
What reports does it produce?
Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, account statements, stock ledgers and profitability reports — each available as PDF and Excel.
Can I move my existing books into Caprastacks?
Yes. A spreadsheet import brings in your chart of accounts, customers, suppliers, products and opening balances, so you start from the position your current books are already in rather than from nothing.
